The Effect of Storytelling Method Using Story Table Technique in Improving Speech Ability of Children Aged 4-5

This study aims to examine the influence of the storytelling method using the story table technique in improving the speaking skills of preschool children. This study uses a quantitative research approach with the Quasi-Experimental Design. The subjects of this study were children aged 4-5 years. Data on children's speaking skills is collected through observation. The data analysis technique used the independent t-test. The results indicated that the experiment group showed greater value than the control class at significance value sig. (2-tailed) is 0.002. Thus, it can be concluded that the storytelling method with the story table technique can improve the speaking skills of children aged 4-5 years.
